BIRD CALL & FRIENDS PLAY “UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER” BENEFIT FOR HOMELESS
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 13TH 2011 AT CAMEO GALLERY
BROOKLYN, NY
Hey friends! Bird, here! I hope you can all make it out next Tuesday to our benefit concert for the homeless in NY. I will be performing along with Steel Phantoms, and Ponyhof at Cameo Gallery on Tuesday, December 13th. Artists will perform to raise money for the homeless communities of New York. Fans are encouraged to wear their ugliest holiday sweaters. Pay $8 cover at the door, or $5 with ugly sweater. All proceeds will go to Coalition For The Homeless, benefiting the homeless communities of New York City during the winter season.
On for the night are Brooklynites, Steel Phantoms who recently opened for Active Child and Islands. Opening the night will be Ponyhof, which is a German expression meaning “Life’s no pony farm”. The act is led by Carrie Irving, whom White Tapes have described as a “moody minimal version of Feist”.
Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8pm. This is a 21 and over event.
